“Echo of the Souls” is a visual study of the unsaid. Stemming from a personal experience of guarded emotions and the fear of queer love expressions, this project asks: How might yearning express itself if freed from the risk of words? Drawing from the atmospheric tension of Luca Guadagnino's “Queer”, I constructed an editorial narrative. A character, mute with fear, turns to intoxication as a medium to conjure a “ghost” lover—an idealized proxy for telepathic communication. This haunting becomes an internal drama, where charged compositions stage scenes of self-reflection, confrontation, and the idealized pursuit of pure love.
